Position Summary:
The Arc is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide a wide variety of person centered supports and services with a strong emphasis on personal choice to the individuals they support. The LPN serves as an advocate and promote self-advocacy. He or she provides personal supports and services based on individual needs.
Schedule: Full-time (40hrs/wk) and Part-time (16hrs/wk) shifts available.
Key Responsibilities:
As an LPN, you'll ensure the health and well-being of individuals in a residential setting while providing clinical leadership to staff during your shift. You'll deliver direct care, support community engagement, and help individuals build independence, relationships, and a fulfilling life.

Requirements:
- Active LPN license.
- Ability to lift/support individuals with assistance.
- Willingness to work in multiple residential settings as needed.
- Completion of all required DDA and agency trainings.
You Are the Ideal Candidate If You Have:
- A valid LPN license for the state of Maryland. (Required).
- Must have at least 1 year of related experience working with individuals in a care-giving setting. (Required).
- A good driving record, reliable vehicle, and current Maryland Driver's license is a must. (Required).
- The candidate must be able to successfully complete training requirements of The Arc.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated care-giving skills such as personal care provision and repositioning skills is required.
- Must be able to lift a person with assistance (two-person lift).
